Robert K. Hall
40
years of professional experience as a physician & somatic therapist,
along with my meditation practice and training, have led
me to the clear understanding that regular meditation practice is
a direct path to the discovery of our true nature.
Over
the years, I have seen how meditation practice has served
individuals to quiet the distracted mind, so common in our fast
paced society, and how meditation has become a path for thousands
of individuals seeking a deeper level of understanding
and self-acceptance.
In
Vipassana or Insight Meditation we bring our attention to the
body & breath and awaken to what's real in our lives. When we see
patterns such as fear, doubt & worry, and understand them more
clearly, we begin to know our lives as they truly are. With practice
and commitment, we can open the imprisoned heart & develop more
compassion towards our selves and toward all living beings.
I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to practice
this way of awakening to love & wisdom. The Dharma is now available
in Todos Santos for individuals who seek real rest and renewal as a
way of healing the troubled mind and the wounded heart so
common in today's society.
I
welcome you to join us on Sunday mornings from 10-11:30 a.m.
We begin with a Dharma Talk
on a particular topic followed by a
period of guided meditation. Depending on the season, there can
be anywhere from 30 to 100 individuals practicing together.
These sessions are held at La A.R.C.A— a spacious and comfortable
dojo located in the heart of Todos Santos.
For
those who would like more in-depth practice... I offer mentoring
for personal retreats---from a week to a month in length. lodging,
